The first destination on our honeymoon was Valencia, Spain.  Valencia is the third largest city in Spain.  Home of the supposed Holy Grail and Europe’s largest aquarium, L’Oceanogràfic, Valencia is also home of Paella. 

I was more than ecstatic to learn my husband had booked us at a beautiful beachfront hotel, Hotel Las Arenas Balenario Resort.  Beaches, history, and paella?  This was a great start to our honeymoon.

…since my toes touched the sand.  It’s been way too long.  The last time I rode on my birthday was when my parents hired pony rides in our backyard for my 9th birthday (hmmm, 20 something years ago).  It’s been way too long.  Great things happened 4/4.
